These terms govern your use of 16capabilities.com, operated by PerfectIT Group Ltd. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

16 Capabilities is a career assessment platform that uses the 16 Capabilities framework to map your professional archetype. The service includes a questionnaire, AI-generated career insights, and optional premium features such as personalised development advice and resume analysis.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account.
• Authentication is via magic link (email-based). There are no passwords to manage.
• You must not share your account or use the service on behalf of another person without their consent.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. AI-generated content disclaimer

Important: The career advice, archetype results, and development suggestions generated by this service are produced by artificial intelligence. They are informational only and do not constitute professional career counselling, employment advice, or financial guidance.

• AI outputs may contain inaccuracies or may not be suitable for your specific circumstances.
• You should not make significant career or financial decisions based solely on AI-generated outputs from this service.
• We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

5. Intellectual property

• The 16 Capabilities framework, question bank, archetype definitions, and site content are owned by PerfectIT Group Ltd.
• Your assessment responses remain your data. You can export or delete them at any time.
• AI-generated outputs (archetype results, advice) are provided for your personal use. You may share your results but may not resell or redistribute them commercially.
• Resumes you upload remain your property. We process them only to provide the analysis service.

6. Premium features and payments

• Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable taxes.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

7. Refunds

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK), you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for digital content. However, by starting the assessment or accessing premium content, you acknowledge that the digital content has been delivered and the cooling-off period may no longer apply. 8. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the question bank or AI prompts
• Submit false or misleading information
• Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers)
• Interfere with the operation of the service or other users

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PerfectIT Group Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR. By using this service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by AI systems as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
